Many of us are familiar with concepts which have originated from western scholars and academics. Some of these are universal but there are also those which may not be suitable for our local context. For example, some management concepts relating to leadership may not be applicable when they are applied across cultures.
Based on Asma’s training and consulting experience,she has developed 6 local cultural dimensions which are Iman - Akar - Ilmu - Rasa - Akal - Amal as found in the Malay language. She has used these 6 concepts in her courses on leadership, teambuilding and even customer service.
