Introduction
Dr Asma Abdullah is a freelance consultant who has worked with both private and public sector organizations, professional  associations, educational  institutions, and non-profit organizations.  She is familiar with the issues and challenges among foreign managers when they work across cultures especially in the Asia Pacific region. She conducts ongoing research on the influence of culture on managerial practices and shares her findings with managers and students in her seminars and workshops.

Asma has a cross cultural marriage and her husband is from England

Qualifications 
Asma studied at both foreign and local universities and obtained the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Arts from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia
  • Diploma in Education from Monash University, Melbourne
  • Masters in Educational Technology from University of So. California, Los Angeles
  • Masters in Counseling Education from University Malaya, Malaysia
  • Doctorate in Social Anthropology from National University, Malaysia (*Thesis title: The influence of ethnic values on managerial practices in Malaysian organizations)

Interests  
She specializes in intra, inter and cross cultural management, intercultural communication, organization development and change, corporate culture and cultural relocation strategies for organizations and management executives.
